A vacancy exists for a graduate Environmental Consultant to work in the expanding CMS UK - Rural, Business and Renewable Energy Consultancy. The work would mainly be out on farms but with some office work, on the development and delivery of the E-CO2 Project, which is providing Energy & Carbon Audits (credited to PAS 2050 with the Carbon Trust) on dairy and beef farms. Clients of the E-CO2 Project include major food processors and food retailers.

Experience and Qualifications
An agricultural background or good general knowledge of livestock farming, plus some qualifications/knowledge of Environmental work related to agriculture will be required. An understanding and interest in Renewable Energy systems suitable for farms would be helpful. A good working knowledge and experience of using IT systems will also be required. Much of the time you will be working independently so good organisational and time management skill will be expected.
Travel to farms will be part of the job and you will be expected to have a full clean driving license and use your own car for farm visits (standard mileage allowance will be paid).
